At Mount Aery, ministry occurs when needs are met. That means, we intentionally seek to create relevant ministries that may benefit our disciples and surrounding communities both with Spiritual and practical resources.

 

We serve, love and lead the hurting, to find a new life in Jesus The Christ. There are a variety of opportunities for disciples of Mount Aery Baptist Church to exercise their gifts in Kingdom building for God.

MINISTRY

We grow broader through Ministry...

 

Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.  They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. (1 Timothy 3:8-10 NIV)  

 

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (Psalms 84:10 NIV)

 

Our Core Ministry category includes those ministries with in Mount Aery that have either scriptural or traditional roots. These ministries may care for the management, maintenance, protection, controls acquisition and investment of liquid and fixed assets of this church.

EVANGELISM

We grow larger through Evangelism...

Witnessing to the love of Christ, we are intentionally reaching out to our community, state and nation through a variety of ministry forms.  These include:

DISCIPLESHIP

We grow deeper through Discipleship...

 

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matt. 28:19-20 NIV)   

 

At Mount Aery, we love to learn.  As such, our ministries that make up our discipleship category are designed to encourage spiritual and personal growth through sacred studies and dialogue.  Whether you’re new to the Mount or a well-established member, there’s a variety of classes you may attend to deepen your walk with Christ. These ministries include:

 

FELLOWSHIP

We grow warmer through Fellowship...

 

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:34-35 NIV)


Historically, the church has been a place that fosters both spiritual and personal development.  With that, because we seek to cultivate an environment wherein our disciples may fellowship aside from worship experiences, we’ve developed the following ministries:

 

WORSHIP

We grow stronger through Worship...

 

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.  God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24 NIV) 

 

Here at the Mount, we take worship seriously; therefore, we are intentional about nurturing an atmosphere where everyone is at liberty to praise and worship. Our ministries which help to facilitate the worship experience include:
