Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
To provide clothing
for the homeless and
less fortunate in the
Hollow Community.
Deacons
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
To be the watchful
guardians over the
disciples, prepare and
serve communion and
minister to the sick and
shut-ins.
Deaconess
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
Aid to Pastor and
his ministry. Prepare
communion for Communion
Sunday and when
necessary. Serve on
first Sunday of the
month to disciples or
when necessary.
Floral
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of the
Floral Ministry is to
minister to people by
giving them peace,
happiness, and uplifting
of their Spirit with the
beautification of
flowers and plants,
inside and outside the
church and community. In
keeping with the five
purposes of the church,
we do outreach by
sending or taking
flowers or fruit baskets
to members and people of
the community in time of
need. Encourage and
fellowship with them.
Hands Unto the Lord Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
To engage in the
ministry of the Gospel,
bringing the signed
communication of Grace
to the deaf and hard of
hearing, and
facilitating their
participation in
fellowship and worship.
M.A.Y.A. {Mount Aery Young Adult
Ministry}
Statement of Purpose:
Strengthen our
relationship with God,
be obedient to His
words, grow in Faith,
and to connect with
others whom are also on
fire for God!
Men's Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
Develop the men of
Mount Aery and prepare
them for Ministry in the
home, in the body of
Christ, in the
Community, starting at
Mount Aery and
throughout the Hollow
Section of Bridgeport
and Beyond.
Statement
of Purpose:
To allow people in the community to experience the effects of
slavery through the
re-enactment of
different vignettes and
genres.
Missionary
Ministry
Statement
of Purpose:
To support the local and foreign missions. To encourage,
provide hope, witness
and share our gifts with
those in distress.
Nurses/First Aid
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
Provides first aid
assistance at Sunday
services and all other
all other areas as
needed. Dedicated
Christian disciples will
serve as liaison between
the church and the
community; rendering
immediate, temporary and
emergency care to the
sick, injured, helpless
and bereaved. As nurses,
we are compassionate and
sensitive to the
physical, emotional and
spiritual needs of those
we serve.

Prayer
Ministry/Prayer Warriors
Statement of Purpose:
In conjunction with
our Pastor, we desire to
inspire people to
prayer, encourage
deepening our prayer
life, support all
ministries at Mount
Aery, and offer sound
spiritual training in
prayer under the
auspices of our Pastor.
Prison
Ministry
Statement of Purpose: To provide outreach to the Hollow community of children of
incarcerated parents;
through the Angel Tree
Ministry.
Scholarship
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
To provide Spiritual
and Financial support
and resources to the
community at large for
persons pursuing
undergraduate and
graduate studies.
Seniors on
the Move
Statement
of Purpose:
To minister and engage the senior disciples in fellowship,
crafts and community
activities.

To minister and empower the mind, body & spirit of our Sisters.
Technology
Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
To provide Mount Aery, its auxiliaries and ministries with the
guidance, training,
resources and tools
necessary to facilitate
the use of current and
advanced technology to
support their ministry.
Transportation Ministry
Statement of Purpose:
Statement of Purpose: To provide transportation to
disciples as well as
non-disciples of Mount
Aery who desires to
attend a worship
celebration or function
at the church.
Transportation is also
provided for outside
events that are church
related.

To provide stewardship responsibilities in the legal, physical
and some portions of the
fiscal affairs of the
Church, while working
closely with the sexton
to ensure the proper
maintenance and
management of all
properties.

disciples, prepare them

Statement of Purpose:
To assist the
disciples of Mount Aery
to come together to use
their gifts to build the
kingdom of God in our
service to the church
and community in the
spirit of love.
